Greater VictoriaHeat Pumps

How it works

Installers answer who will do the work. Government pages tell you the rules. This site answers the question in between: what should you actually choose, for your house, in Greater Victoria.

  1. Step 1

    Start where you are

Cost, rebates, running cost, sizing, a quote in hand, a system that is not heating, or a strata question. Every tool shows a result first; no account, no contact details.

  2. Step 2

Save it, or continue by text or call

Save a result to your case, have it texted to you, or ask the 24/7 assistant. What you have already told us is never asked again.

  3. Step 3

Get the next useful step, not a funnel

The site suggests the one next decision that fits what it knows: rebates after a cost estimate, running cost after rebates, a quote comparison if you already have quotes.

  4. Step 4

Say yes before anything is shared

When you are ready for a free, no-obligation home assessment, we tell you exactly who receives your name and number and why, and share only after your yes. One vetted installer, never a call list.

  5. Step 5

    Tell us how it went

A short follow-up asks whether the installer responded, whether you got a quote, and whether you went ahead. That is how installers stay partners, and how we learn which answers actually help.

How we make money

How we are paid: when a homeowner asks to be connected and gives explicit consent, we share their details with one designated local installer, and we may receive a referral fee from that installer. Nothing on this site is paid placement; estimates, comparisons and guides do not change based on who pays us. We are not affiliated with any government, utility or rebate program, and we are not an installer.

This site is independent. It is paid, if at all, by one designated local installer when you ask to be connected and say yes to sharing your details. That fee never changes the estimates, comparisons or guides you see.

What we are not

We do not install or service heat pumps, hold no installer licence and have no showroom. We are not affiliated with BC Hydro, FortisBC, CleanBC or any government program, and we do not decide rebate eligibility. We do not run a directory, sell featured placement, or pass your details to more than one company.
